The Committee on Education moves to amend the bill in section §18-4-2 on page 3, line 15, by removing the strike-through of the words “promulgate a legislative rule” and deleting the underscored language “proposed rules for legislative approval”

And,

On in section 18A-4-8b, subsection (g) on page 26, line 81, by striking subdivision (4) and inserting in lieu thereof a new subdivision (4) to read as follows:

“(4) The county board shall notify any person who has applied for a job posted pursuant to this section of the status of his or her application the successful applicant as soon as possible after the county board makes a hiring decision regarding the posted position.”
